This is a nice replacement for an old slatted bifold door. It gives the room a cleaner, more updated look, and the mirrored design makes it feel more useful than a plain closet door.The white finish is simple and easy to match with most rooms, and the barn-door-inspired look is a nice change from the older louvered/slatted style doors that can make a space feel dated. I wanted to express my disappointment with the lack of preparation on these bifold doors. While the hardware was included, there were no marks, templates, or pre-drilled holes for any of the hardware installation. Assembling four bifold doors completely from scratch without any hardware pre-installed became an extremely time-consuming and frustrating process. It took us nearly three hours just to assemble one door properly.In addition, the floor attachment/bracket height was higher than our standard opening, which made fitting the doors into place unnecessarily difficult and almost impossible without additional adjustments.For a product at this level, we expected a much more installer-friendly experience, especially with clearer prep work or pre-drilled hardware locations. The amount of labor and trial-and-error required was far beyond what should reasonably be expected for a bifold door installation.

I thought these would be preassembled but they were not. I had to install the hinges. The track hardware is horrible. Surface mounted and visible. The lower pivot mounting hardware was overly large and the upper pivot hardware isn't spring loaded so the door would not fit a standard 80" opening. I reused the hardware from the old door and that solved that problem. (had to bore approx 9/16" holes to accept the old hardware)

I do not recommend. Very difficult to put together and after finally putting it together it still doesn’t look right. Gaps between the doors and the mirrors make you short. I wish I could return it but it is already installed and my husband had to do some retrofitting to get it in. I will be replacing it soon.

We got this bifold door in the 36 x 80“ size as it’s an amazing folding bong door with beautiful mirror and has concealed hardware kit that’s included in the box. The PVC surface is easy to paint over and it’s very suitable for not only a closet but also a bathroom or a side nook. Installation was easy and took no more than an hour for us to do. It’s built rugged and durable and a great value for the money. And fit our veranda easily. This gets my 100% Tried-and-True 5 Star Rating! It has excellent functionality as well. I only give five star ratings to items that I use and exceed my expectations for quality, functionality, ease-of-use, premium appearance & looks, durability, ease of installation & time to build, good value for the price point, accuracy in size & fit - and when possible - sustainability, green certification, safety, & environmental considerations. This review is for "FREDBECK Bifold Door for 30x80 Opening (Double 15x80) with 1 Lites Mirror ,Interior Bi fold Barn Doors and Concealed Hardware Kit Included, PVC Surface, White,for Closet,Pantry,Kicthen (White, 30x80)".The installation is not the easiest, especially if you never installed doors like this before. The doors look good due to the PVC surface. It also makes them pretty durable and easy to clean. They are not very light though. I think they are priced reasonably for their quality and features.
