Easy to use, Works well if the fastener is on size, good fit. It gets upset, if presented with poor quality or rounded nuts. Still worth an entry in my tool box.

These are quite a clever idea. Like the plastic spinners that come with some flexible hoses, they can be used to hand-tighten rubber-sealed connectors, but they don't provide enough leverage for tighter items like compression fittings. As it consists of two interlocking pieces, a spanner can be assembled over a pipe to undo it, or removed from a pipe after tightening the nut. I found the spanner to be quite a tight fit on the fitting shown in the photos, but this is probably better than too loose and falling off. In the event, I couldn't exert sufficient force manually on the ears to loosen the nut. But for hand-tight fittings, this will be useful. Quite inexpensive at £4.49 for a pack of three.

So so, offered them up to a nut turned ok and got it tight, no leak but need to learn to trust.

Wonderful solution to diy plumbing under a sink basin. Nifty.

Bit small for the nuts just bend them abit.

They can be good and useful, they did detach a hose for me. However they can be very fiddly in tighter spaces and can fall apart and be difficult to use. They are also easily lost as there is no clips to keep them together.
