It's starting to warm up outside so the other scents wouldn't be suitable to try. I came across this melon one and was shocked that all the notes in it, were notes that I love. I have especially been on the lookout for melon scents because I want to find a perfume version of the scent of the Pink Sands candle by Yankee. When reviewing these notes, the only thing I could do without was the coconut milk note, but I thought it would just add a hint of creaminess. Boy was I wrong. I got the perfume and sprayed it. It definitely had all of the notes that were listed. The initial spray was my favorite trio of citruses. Then the melon and rose came peeking through. Afterwards, the coconut cream completely overpowered it. It's so heavy, thick, and creamy. I didn't even know such a perfume could exist. I wonder if it's due to the name, but it smells a bit like biscuits (Arab cookies). It ruined the whole perfume. The atomizer is fantastic and the longevity seems great. It's also cloyingly sweet and creamy. Someone said to let it macerate, but the notes all came out so I'm not sure that it needs maceration. It had the notes from the get-go, but I will still try maceration. If it gets better, I will update my review. If you love gourmand, sweet, creamy scents then this is for you. Do not sleep on this Khadlaj collection! Get melon musk whilst it is available. Amazing juicy melon musk scent with hints of coconut milk. Well blended and balanced! The entire biscotti collection!
