This absorpak silica gel is very effective for my wardrobe, under the sink and my shoe rack. It also can be used in kitchen for preventing from cockroach due to moisture. Highly recommend to housewives

The total number of sachets included in the packaging is 50, with each sachet containing a total of 5 grams making a total of 250 grams. All bags are of a good size and can be put anywhere such as in camera bags, electronic safes, shoes, cabinets, drawers, and so on. These are effective in controlling moisture and preventing mould upto a certain extent. If you are living in a highly humid environment, don't forget to put these with your expensive gears and electronics like Macbooks, Cameras, etc. The sachets are well sealed and labeled, and the packing makes it easy to manage and distribute them. The size of the individual sachets are just perfect. Not too small, not too big. My only point of concern is price. At the price of ₹399 for 250 g, it should be around ₹1.60 per gram which is costly when compared to silica gel products available in bigger packs. If the need fulfills the market and you are looking for small packed 5 g sachets, it is worth it; but if you are just looking for silica gel in bulk, you may get better options. In conclusion, sachets are a good option in terms of size and convenience, but I recommend checking prices for alternatives. I'm reducing 1 star for the price. A generous amount of silica desiccant packets of a larger size than usual packed inside a sealed plastic bag. I used them for some expensive electronics and clothes as humidity is high especially during these hot summer and rainy months. The quality is very good and I will post an update on the results and progress so far after a week of use.

Its a Average product , Why 5 stars if it's a avg product ? because it's a extremely simple product it's just moisture absorbing packets it's hard to mess up such a simple product , I mean it does what it says it's little packets of silica that absorb moisture . Really good for bagpacks handbags shoes etc , if you keep one in the back of your shoe it absorbs sweat which reduces smell as well .

Each sachet (the individual pouch containing the silica gel beads) is made from a non-woven, paper-like material, sturdier and more tear-resistant than the thin sachets typically bundled with electronics. Moisture molecules stick to silica gel's surface area rather than being chemically absorbed into it, which is what makes it effective and reusable as a desiccant (a substance that induces or sustains dryness in its immediate surroundings). All 50 sachets come packed in a larger resealable zip-lock pouch, similar to what you'd see on snack packaging, so unused sachets stay protected instead of losing effectiveness while in storage. I bought these specifically for my closed cabinet housing 250+ books, since monsoon humidity has been causing yellowing and dampness over time. I'm optimistic these will slow that degradation and I'm using the rest across clothing cupboards, imp document storage, electronics and silverware drawers (to slow rust and tarnishing) and even my gym bag to control mildew and odour. Every sachet arrived crisp, fully sealed and undamaged. I can't yet speak to long-term performance, but the build quality and packaging give me real confidence.

These seem to be genuinely good quality and very dry silica gel sachets. Each sachet is 5g, and I checked one myself. After cutting it open, the silica beads weighed about 5g, while the empty paper sachet was around 1g, making the complete packet about 6g. I also did a simple moisture absorption test. I left one sachet (packed) exposed to the air overnight, and by the next day its total weight had increased from around 6g to 8g. That is around 2 g of moisture picked up overnight, or about 40% of the dry silica bead weight. So these definitely do absorb a significant amount of moisture! I opened one sachet out of curiosity as well. The beads inside were clear, hard and surprisingly bouncy. When I intentionally put some loose beads directly into water, they became warm and started cracking and popping into smaller pieces and dust. They are obviously meant to absorb moisture from the air, not to be soaked in water, but it was interesting to see how dry and active they were. One thing I would recommend is not leaving these sachets sitting exposed in open air, because they will start absorbing room humidity even when they are not protecting anything. Keep the unused ones inside the resealable outer pouch, and when using them, put them inside a reasonably well-sealed container. In my case, I mainly use them inside boxes containing electronic components, but there are plenty of other uses too. They can be kept with camera gear, tools, documents, jewellery, watches, shoes, clothes, collectibles and other items that you want to protect from humidity. They can also be useful for helping dry out phones or other small electronics after accidental water exposure - switch the device off first and place it in a sealed container with several silica gel sachets so they can absorb the remaining moisture. They are also handy for storage boxes, cupboards, drawers and bags that tend to stay closed for long periods... The pack contains plenty of individually packed 5g sachets, the size is convenient for smaller containers, and considering the quantity and performance, I think they are very good value for money. Overall, they seem very dry, effective and practical for everyday moisture protection!
