Perfect Replacement...
Got a used Sony DVD player off an auction site, came with no remote. I ordered this little guy, it came I dropped in some batteries, and that was it. Worked right away, allowed me to do all the setup I needed to do. Happy with this purchase

Works ok
Not sure if it’s the remote or the receiver as I never had the factory remote but the functions seem to be hit or miss. I’m guessing it’s the receiver itself though as the power, volume, and source buttons are consistent.

Cheaply made but it works.
This remote has VERY cheaply made design although it mimics the original remote it’s not as sturdy and doesn’t feel good to hold. The battery bay cover panel broke IMMEDIATELY upon trying to open it the very first time to place batteries in it so now it has to be held on with tape. I will say however that this product does work as the original did. It has all the same buttons and they all appear to work as of right now and if u need a replacement that will operate ur surround sound and Samsung tv this one will it just won’t do it very comfortably. It feels so light that you’re afraid you’ll break it by accident in ur hand and the plastic is rough.
