Tac-Force Fixed Blade Knife TF-FIX022BK

Another inexpensive but high quality beauty. I've been on a bit of a low-price knife buying binge as of late, and this is one of my latest. I've been eyeing it for a while, and as usual, the only issue / my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. For $15.00, you really can't ask for more. It's very.... "crisp"; it has those sharp (not overly so) crisp edges on the spine & ring that the bushcrafters love for making great sparks with a ferro rod. (Just descibing the blade; not that you'd choose this for a bushcraft knife.... a backup, close-in, personal defense blade, 100%....bushcraft, no) The "sharp" edges are beautiful to my eye & hand, but ladies or those with soft hands might want to take a file / sandpaper to them. I love it as-is. The blade is just superb. Grind is astounding. Satin finish is flawless. It's really amazing how man can produce such an item. The paracord wrap is well done, seems to actually be a quality paracord - and it actually IS paracord with the separate internal strands. it's not that uber-cheap garbage that so often comes with knives this inexpensive. The sheath is the biggest positive surprise here - that was one of the biggest reasons why I delayed for so long buying this blade; the sheath didn't' seem any good, esp. with what appears to essentially be a built-in clip. Sure, the clip unscrews, but the sheath was molded & designed with a special spot for the clip to screw into. You could remove it & attach your own tek-lock or whatever, but you still have that "nub" / spot for the factory clip. Fortunately, this doesn't appear to be an issue, as the clip is actually nice & functional! The sheath is surprisingly nice. It retains just well enough to be secure, but not so much that it's overly tight. The clip is actually very nice & has a real lip / catch to actually grab onto your belt or even pocket. I'll try to update later with more details, but this is another great value at an amazing price point. Must buy!
