Very handy.

I absolutely love this iron for all my sewing needs. Steam vents are as stated, completely around the entire soleplate which is perfect for all my tailoring needs. Also love the cordless part. It does hold the heat well when off the stand for a good amount of time snd reheats fast when placed back in the cradle. Also love how light weight it is.

I didn’t realize how much I would love this little iron. It heats up fast and gets very hot on the high setting. I have only used it a couple of times to press half square triangles but it worked well. I really like that there’s no cord in the way and I don’t have to concern myself with the direction of the iron. I plan on using it to steam set my wool rugs after rug hooking - but it may get moved around to use it in quilting as well.Side note: Amazon shipped in the original box of the iron and the box was destroyed. They then placed it in a larger box to deliver it. The iron was luckily not damaged but I wouldn’t recommend minimal packaging on an item like this.

This iron is so cool, light and easy to use, oh my gosh maneuvers way better than a big bulky iron, you don't have to turn it around as there's a point on each end quick and better than any other iron I've used

So far, I have no complaints. I owned an Oliso iron for years, and I loved it. Like all things electronic with many bells and whistles, my Oliso started giving out on me. I've known of the Panasonic cordless iron for years and figured that I would change things up and give it a try. I like that it is smaller and lighter than my Oliso. Having no cord is so freeing in so many ways. There are no words to describe the freedom of being cordless. As far as heat goes, it does well. I used it as a dry iron on high heat, and it did the job. I am going to say that if I ever use the steam setting or starch, I believe that this iron will do just fine.Historically speaking, it dawned on me that this iron is the modern version of what was used in households more than 100 years ago. The same lightweight, oval-shaped (with some irons) would be set on top of a wood-burning or coal stove to keep the iron heated for readily available use.

This is my first cordless iron. I'll be using this as a dry iron, so it's different not pushing the steam button. So far, it's working nicely.

I use this iron for quilting- and for steam pressing my jelly roll rugs - it is perfect! It heats up quickly, holds heat for a decent amount of time - has a retractable cord!! Highly recommend

This is by far one of my favorite irons to use. I do a lot of paper pieced quilts and not having to mess with a cord is absolutely the best! It provides plenty of heat to iron my fabrics. It glides smoothly over the fabrics and I love the stability of the base!
