I am surprised at all the negative reviews. This was not my experience at all. I regularly read reviews and those reviews feel like someone review bombed this product. I run a lot of meetings and take a lot of notes. But typing distracts me from the flow and management of the meeting. For me, writing on paper is much less distracting. But the problem is that my notes then need to be typed up. Ophaya is the perfect solution for me as it takes my handwritten notes and, with one click, types them up on my cell phone. Then I can quickly edit through them to expand them from notes to reports or summaries. My hand writing is terrible but the first time I used Ophaya it did an amazing job recognizing my words with only a couple of misses (but I couldn’t read them either 🙄) And it did this right out of the box. It comes with a nice tablet sized notebook with paper and a very nice magnetic closing cover. The cover has space inside for spare ink cartridges, with pockets for ID, business cards, and a pen that writes on paper and on the included tablet. The tablet is perfect for sketching out ideas or diagrams like one might do on a whiteboard. It’s very simple to link your cell and the pen. When you do, Ophaya, through the free included app, automatically puts what you write on the notebook paper into the cellphone, including any doodles or diagrams. As you handwrite notes you can change the color of the digital ink with a tap to the notebook paper to keep concepts or content color separated. It’s the tool I have waited a long time for. I’m sorry I didn’t know about it sooner.

So I had previously used a Livescribe Echo and really loved it. I lost the pen and wanted to try something different. I'm really disappointed with this. A couple things to understand, the audio recording is done on your phone, via their Ophaya Pro+ app. So keep in mind that notification sounds etc will be captured in your audio. The user experience in the app for listening back to your recordings is terrible. It's extremely difficult to move through your notes and through the audio. There's no way to increase the speed of the audio (sometimes I want to listen at 1.5 or 2x speed to get to the spot I'm looking for) either. And for a recent meeting I was in, I recorded for about 2 hours, multiple pages of notes, and I couldn't navigate to different sections of my notes at all. I would expect to be able to click on a place in my written notes (in the app) and have the audio play at the point I was taking notes. Not the experience here. The tablet is a nice option for drawing or if you're just taking a few notes, but the app just falls so short of any expectations for this type of pen. Not to mention I couldn't find any way to get support for it. So if anyone from Ophaya wants to help, please let me know! I was so disappointed that my return window expired before I was able to really use this and see how terrible it was.

The Ophayapen Smart Sync Pen has completely upgraded the way I take notes. It writes smoothly on paper, and the real-time sync to my phone and iPad works flawlessly. The product is good! It has addressed 85% of my needs effectively. However, I've noticed two areas that could use improvement: Editing text can be cumbersome since there's no option to erase a misspelled word; instead, it must be crossed out. This process feels inefficient, requiring starting from scratch for corrections. The screen tends to be slightly dim. While it's still visible, a brighter screen would enhance the user experience. I'm currently exploring whether these issues are due to gaps in my understanding of the product. If so, I'll be sure to update my review accordingly. Keep up the great work! 😊

this ophaya pen and board was amazing when it worked!!! i loved loved it.. i started using it only few months after buying which affected the warrenty on it.. it was an amazing tool for meeting and keeping my notes organized.. i really loved it.. unfortunately it stopped working after about 8 months of using it; when i contacted hte customer service they told me the warrenty was expired and told me to buy a new one... i was very disapppointed.. why should i buy a new one if it will stop working again... if anyone can recommend a similar product that will last at least a few year... thanks!

This is perfect for people who like to write on paper but want to save it to their phones. It's great for taking notes in class or recording meetings. It's also a good choice for those who need to convert handwriting to text, want to save their children's homework or drawings, or are not used to writing directly on their iPads.

I have NEVER done a video review, posted on Facebook, Youtube etc. But when I find something this good... I have to try. This review would be so long if I could get all my thoughts together. Ive researched guys. Ive even owned a Livescribe...THIS is what you want. As a contractor note taking, organizing , and sharing is a must! Millions of dollars can hang on something as simple as a note taken or no proof of communication. I pretty much live on my Samsung Z Fold. Its my tablet, computer, camera, etc and I can make calls with it lol. I have always loved having a way to make sketches, write on pictures and blueprints. But note taking was hell! So get ready. Bullet points: The price is INSANE The included writing tablet is perfect. Can record, change color ink, change ink thickness, add more not space, weighs NOTHING and... INSTANT SYNC The leather binder they give you is true quality! ^ rings so not a flimsy 3 ring binder that you hope will not tear. The paper is magic. Once again chose color, size , with or without recording while taking notes OH did I mention you can erase with all of these options! The pen is very lite and does not look like some wierd space age prop! They send different tips as well. One is for the tyablet and others are ink. Totally refillable! Im telling you I have never been so excited! Im telling my guys out in the field to get this now! even the vice president of my company looked down at his reMarkable 2 and put it in a drawer! LOL Was priceless! By the way, you can buy 4 or 5 of the bundles they offer for the price of ONE reMarkable, Kindle etc.... Listen, Like I say, its a no brainer. If a contractor can see unlimited potential in a product, even with all the dirt, distruction, power outages, and ocassional guy falling off a roof then you have to know its awesome. and yes it IS Contractor Approved!
