I replaced a 18-year-old cat ? Ethernet cable with this Bluerigger cat 8 cable. The cable runs from my internet modem to my Eeros 6 pro router. The increase in speed for my Wi-Fi system was remarkable. Up close and at a distance the speed of my internet increased nearly double. The cable is well made and appears very sturdy. I do recommend this seller and this ethernet cable.

A perfectly fine cable for above gigabit networking, held back by a fat plug that may be a poor fit.
Seems well made and of the desired length … I am sustaining 2.5 Gbps speeds … which is the limit of the connected equipment. The only issue is that the housing for the RJ45 plug is rather chunky, to the point that it was unable to be inserted into a port on a router. Where all other cables I tried clicked in, the thick rubber of the casing conflicted with the casing of the router around the ports. I ended up using short cable I have laying around and a CAT7 coupler, but it's just an unfortunate limitation. Now, this is also partially the fault of the router, because that is poor design to have such tight tolerance for plug housing, but then the router is the expensive piece of equipment and the cable isn't so …

Fast cat ethernet cable.
Very fast connection and stable internet from these long cables. Works very well and easy to put away when no longer needed.

Exactly as described
I love the durability of this ethernet cord! The flatness of the cord makes for easier setting up and running under or around any annoying obstacles. I noticed a huge difference in my connection in game with this ethernet vs my old one and my stream holds a nice steady consistent connection and have had Zero problems with my game or my streams lagging out. I would highly recommend this cord for anyone that is looking to update their game, stream, office, or just regular set ups.
