881170A3 Outboard Remote Control Box
The Side Remote Control Assembly 15ft 8 Pin No Trim. For non-power trim models, 8-pin 15 ft.(4.58 m) harness and built-in warning horn. Fits all Mercury / Mariner outboards (without power trim) and 1993 and newer Force outboards 40 hp and higher utilizing Mercury style control cables.
Smooth Forward & Reverse
To shift into forward and reverse, rotate the control lever downward about 35°to the F side and R side, respectively. When the control lever is further rotated downward, the throttle opens.
Emergency Cord & Clip
The cord can secure the operation by being attached to operator's clothing, or arm, or leg. Should operators fall down or leave the helm, the cord will pull out the clip, stopping ignition.
15' Harness & 8 Pin Connector
The handle ed trim switch comes with a 15' harness with 8 pin deutshe connector. For non-power trim models.
Adjustable Throttle Friction
Adjust control handle friction adjustment to prevent vibration from changing throttle setting. Turn adjustment screw clockwise to increase the friction or counterclockwise to reduce the friction.
Dual Function Use
The remote control box is so designed that both shift and throttle can be actuated by operating a remote control lever. So it is convenient for you for sure.
