Excellent quality camera. It is small and portable. Has good zoom function. After many years of use, it is still functional and battery still working, nice product.

The Sony DSC-W310 may be an older model, but it still works great as a basic point-and-shoot camera. The 12.1MP photos come out clear, and the 4x wide-angle zoom is handy for everything from family pictures to outdoor shots. The Digital Steady Shot helps reduce blur, and the 2.7" screen is bright and easy to see. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for someone who just wants a simple camera without complicated menus. It won’t compete with newer smartphones, but for casual photography or as a backup camera, it does the job really well. Overall, a solid older Sony model that’s reliable, easy to use, and great for everyday pictures.

My camera didn’t come with an SD card or battery. I feel ripped off. Can I please have an SD card and battery?

The photos are good, but had to send it in for repair ...
Purchased this to replace a more expensive compact camera. The photos are good, but had to send it in for repair within 6 months because it had lines in all the photos. Looked like I was taking pictures through a set of blinds.It took several weeks from the time I sent it in until I received it back. My phone camera takes a lot better photos than this camera

This camera is amazing! I have had a sony camera before but I recently purchased this one because I broke my other one. This camera is inexpensive for what it does. The videos work well and the pictures come out crystal clear. The camera automatically adjusts its lens to what type of lighting your trying to capture the picture in. You can edit a photo right on the camera before even uploading it to your computer. The sleek matte look makes it look like an expensive camera. I'm a college student and it captures my friends as well as sites around the city

Picture quality worse than even 7 mega pixel camera
This is one of the worse sony product I believe. I bought this camera due to its low price as I wanted something for very casual outings. My friend had a Kodak 8 mega pixel camera. This being 12.1 couldn't even match half of 8 MP camera. Kodak was even cheaper than this but picture was good. Specifically the night shots were really worse. Even in day light the pictures were not showing up clearly. Returning this camera after 4 days. I had a Canon Powershot SD series 7 mega pixel camera earlier and I am going back to SD series now. Will never suggest this camera to anyone.
